Is there a way to prevent movies from being ordered, my ederly mother keeps ordering movies and doesn't even know she did it. How can I block all rentals and movie purchases?

4k Streaming on Netflix
I have an older router. I have a Samsung 4k TV. I stream Netflix from the app on the TV not from the Verizon Guide. I pay for 4k programming on Netflix. The programming in 4k does not seem to be playing in 4k. Do I need to upgrade to the newer router? I hope not. Not looking for my bill to go up.
Can't connect to DVR on Fios Tv One Mini
I'm able to connect to the DVR on the main unit, but when I try to pull up the DVR on the mini, it only says to upgrade the unit, even though I have FiOS DVR.
Fios tv one mini
I have a fios tv one mini that was connected wireless. We decided to try xfinity for a bit, liked the fios better, and I have reconnected the fios. I have great internet, and my main media server is working. However, I cannot get my mini to hook up. It cannot detect a network connection. It was hooked up to the system through the wifi. It has a solid yellow light on the left front. My router has a solid white globe and a solid wifi light beneath it. The media client location is still listed in the settings of the server.

All I need is to swap a SD box for a HD top box but Verizon......Please read!
I had such a difficult time yesterday when contacting Verizon customer sevice to ask if they can upgrade my SD top box to an HD top box. I have two TV's one is old and works fine with my SD box the other is new and I wanted to upgrade it to the HD box. The first rep said I would need to switch both boxes to HD. That didn't make much sense. I though why should I pay for two HD boxes when I just need one. I said I would think it over. Verizon sends me a confirmation order e-mail. On the order is two HD boxes and she put it the Tech Sure package which now i'm paying $15 more a month. I called back and the other rep told me is was unable to remove the HD boxes and the TechSure package but he would reimburse me the difference when the bill comes out. He said you will now only pay about $8 more a month but he didn't send me an updated order. So I called back later in the day for a third time to confirm the prices. The third rep was able to remove the Tech Sure package but she added another box to my order. So now I'm paying for three boxes and I only need two. Then I told the rep the order is wrong. A supervisor then came on and told me that I the HD boxes are not compatable and I need two FiosOne boxes....for a one time $50 fee. At this point I got so annoyed I cancelled the order. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with no results. All I wanted to do is swap my SD box with 1 HD box and pay the difference each month!!!! Any suggestions? Thanks!
Fios One Mini and Coax Cable
Thinking about upgrading to Fios One DVR and Mini boxes. But I prefer Coax Connection instead of Wifi. Do Fios One Mini boxes have a connector for Coax cable?
Syncing remote issue
I have 2 Fios remotes. I think one of them is synced to both TV's. Now I can't sync the 2nd remote to the tv I want.
How can I fix this?
I need help
I spent half a day trying to get my problems fixed and nothing. It keeps getting worse I get disoriented pictures on channels or no picture and it seems to be getting worse. Never had this problem before and have had Verizon since they brought it here. I think they should somehow fix my problems. The lady did all kinds of stuff then said it was on their end then said she was sending it to another department and it would be completely fixed within 24 to 48 hours. It wasn’t ! I saw where Verizon called me twice but no message left. With all the years and all the money we have spent on Verizon there has to be a answer. We always loved it and never had problems until about a month ago. I’m thinking we may have very old box or set top box that is causing this ? The set top box has been replaced once only.
Freezing everyday
Since switched from direct tv ( never should have) Tv freezes up everyday on both boxes. When they installed they told me they needed to do work on the lines at road because the service line was to far down the rd and would cause problems. That never happened and forget trying to get help another then doing resets on my end and theirs. Fixes problem for the day.
Fios TV app problems on IOS 9.3.5 iPad 2
I have recently switch to Fios. I have been able to use an older iPad2 that runs IOS 9.3.5 connect to my providers streaming app.
However, When I try to connect to the Fios TV app get this Error Code:
9-6-24-100-999
My newer iPad Air was able to successfully connect as was my Kindle Fire.
I am hoping there is some magic that will let me use the older device for streaming.
I am Running IOS 9.3.5
I have version 1.7 of the FIOS TV app (this was the latest my device will let me download).

I tried using Safari Browser to use the FIOS web site but that just points me to downloading the app.

Random channels pixelate and freeze
I've been dealing with this nonsense for months. They sent me a new STB that didn't fix anything, I've replaced the coax and reset my STB more times than I can count.
I'm so sick of being over charged (yes, Verizon's billing is lousy but that's another thread) for services they are NOT providing.
When the contract is up I'm switching to something else, Verizon is awful.
Reactivating Cablecard transferred from old to new Tivo Bolt
I've upgraded a Tivo and moved the cablecard over to it. It kind of works but has channels missing and throws an error screen up periodically that it needs to properly paired/activated. I've tried several times to do this via the automated system but it has not succeeded. I have a vague memory of this having to be done manually because of it having to be unpaired from the old no longer working Tivo. I've tried to call in to Verizon to talk to a service person but got stuck on hold for +30min and gave up.
Is there an online way to do this ? The self installation site for Verizon wants an acitvation code which I do not have.
If not, is there a way to get to the right folks without fighting through the phone tree to still get stuck on hold?

Multiple DVR boxes on one account
Can you use 2 DVR boxes on one account? I would like to have one DVR work with 4 of the TV's and the other just work with one. I am trying to solve the problem of not being able to use the pause, rewind and forward buttons without it screwing up al the TV's in the house. The new Fios One boxes have issues if there are too many boxes connected.
No HD STB?
For the past 4 months I've been charged for 2 HD STB and not received the STB's. My SD boxes can't get HD?

Able to log into my fios and web, only tv app gives issues on all networks. Saw somebody had a problem before because of special characters in a password, removing these did not solve my issue. Phone support cannot help, not sure what to do.
No sound on YouTube fios tv one
As my subject states, I have no sound on my YouTube widget. Everything else works perfectly. It’s only on one of my three TVs where I am having this problem.
tv mirroring of DVR recordings when at locations with large time shifts
A short time ago we upgraded tv to vios tv one. we have a vacation place used 3 to 4 months a year having 6 hour time difference compared to our home in the USA. Most of the news and shows have to be recorded. Before the upgrade we used the Slingplayer to stream the recorded tv programs. The tv one does not allow that. Is it posible for verizon to allow mirroring of the DVR recording from our iPad to larger tv set??
SOLVED: Programming Samsung Smart TV remote to FIOS Set Top Box (STB)
Ok, so just want to post this for other members can use.
Samsung Smart TV Remote CAN be made to work with Verizon FiOS STB.
Here are the steps (and one trick that I only accidentally found):
1. Make sure your Smart Remote is paired with the TV (I got a new remote that had to be paired first). It has to be a genuine Samsung remote that, when holding the Back and Play buttons, shows on TV and pairing is successful !
2. Make sure STB is connected and fully functional
3. On Samsung TV go to Source --> Universal Remote
4. Select New Device --> Cable or Sat Box --> TV
5. When asked to select your provider DO NOT select Verizon FiOS Digital (as it shows on my list. This one won't work !). Scroll down and select "My service provider is not listed"
6. Then from this new list select Verizon.
7. When prompted to change channels, they do change. Press Yes to ack everything works and you are all set.
My STB is HD QIP 7100 1
Was struggling for hours with this, selecting Verizon FiOS Digital and channels would never change. The trick is to select Verizon, only on the second screen.
Hope this helps anybody.
FIOS is bad all around
Quality of service, but even worse, customer service department. Don't get FIOS. Will take your money after cancelling the service and won't refund.
