My Samsung sound bar will not be recognized by the Fios remote even though I've used the programming numbers. I have to use the sound bar remote to control sound.
TV is black when I turn
But there is a white outlined box in upper left corner with channel numbers running continually with DTV Air written above it. How can I get rid of this and get my channels to appear ?

I don't recall ever seeing any information that it was being removed, but noticed a few weeks ago that it was just completely gone.

Our remote will not delete any of our dvr programs. The "c" button will not work. The select "delete" will not work either. What do I do next?

Cannot Stream in 4K via the Netlix/YT native apps on FIOS TV ONE box
Hi -
I have a TV One box and a FIOS-G1100 Router. I know this is not a router issue as I stream 4K via Netflix/YT app's on my 4K TV and Netflix/YT app's on my Blu Ray player.
Setup: Everything is hard wired. From my router to my TV One Box to my 4K amp to my 4K Samsung TV.
1) If I open the Netflix/YT Apps on my TV or on my Blu Ray player I can stream in 4K.
2) If I open the Netflix/YT Apps on the FIOS TV One box I CANNOT stream in 4K.
I tried changing the resolution in settings on the FIOS One box: Settings/Video settings/video format to 2160P 16:9 and I get the error: unable to change to the selected video format, it may not be supported on this TV or cannot be changed at this time.
As I can stream 4K, as detailed above, from app's on all other devices I know all cabling and setups are fine and work. I just cannot stream 4K from the FIOS One box. I reset everything and still no 4K from the FIOS One box Netflix/YT apps.
Is there something I am missing? FIOS states that the TV ONE box is capable of streaming in 4K. Any help appreciated. Any idea appreciated.

FX / Unable to stream starting today.
I have had a triple play ultimate TV package for years now and never had a problem viewing anything as long as it's in my channel lineup. However starting today I can't sign into the FX app on my roku or phone. It states that I must have a qualifying pkg such as extreme HD. What changed? Or is this a true technical issue some how? Help please.
3rd Party iPad Apps will not Sign in Correctly
I am trying to log into 3rd party applications -- such as the NBC or TBS app -- on my ipad. When I log in via the safari or chrome applications it prompts for a log-in and functions, but then re-directs to the app which has me log in again. I select Verison Fios and then there is no log-in screen, it just says I do not have the correct level of TV subscription which is false since it just worked in the browser. Any ideas? It is multiple manufacurers. I am not currently home and on a different Verizon wifi -- could that be influencing it?
3rd party app will not sign in correctly on firestick - the Weather Channel
It tells me:
Additional subscription required.
To watch The Weather channel, you must subscribe to a FiOS TV package that includes TWC, such as Extreme HD.
I'm already subscribed to Extreme HD and in fact have the weather channel working on two other firesticks in my home (that were set up previously). So there is clearly a technical issue with signing in to 3rd party aps. How can I fix this?
Using own router still can't get Guide data and VOD
I've been using my own router for many years and never had problems. Recently I started using a pfsense firewall and the STB started loosing guide data.
I have the pfsense router connected to the ONT via CAT6. I also have a coax connection from the ONT to the Fios G1100 router. I've connected the WAN port of the Fios-G1100 to my switch and I see the dhcp lease but I'm unable to access the Fios router MGMT interface over the WAN interface.
ONT===>pfsense_router====>Gigabit_ethernet_switch<=====FIOS-G1100
I've made the pfsense_router interface IP address 192.168.1.1, the scope is set to 192.168.1.100<=>192.168.1.199.
I've reset the Fios-G1100 router and STB numerous times, still no luck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Turn Off Fios One Box Automatic Shut Off?
Is it possible to disable the "auto shut off" on the Fios One box? After a few hours my box automatically turns off and when I turn on my TV again, i'm defaulted to the generic "warm up" home screen. I would love to have it automatically turn on to the last channel I was watching...
HD channels not working without set top box
Sometime this summer (2019) HD channels stopped working on my clear QAM TVs without set top boxes. I'm in the Boston area. Has anybody else out there run into this issue? Any word on what happened?
I've been using a couple TV's without STBs for years now, and as far as I know Verizon is required to make local broadcast channels available. The two TVs behave slightly differently, but neither will show the HD channels. Interestingly the older TV gets the audio on the local hd channels, but no picture.
I have yet to contact customer service since I expect this corner of their service to be outside any rep's scripts.

Fios One mini default connection to coax
Like several people, I have trouble with the wireless connection to my fios mini tv box in my master bedroom. I connected the box via coax cable and it works perfectly, but everytime the mini box goes into standby mode, it reconnects back to the wifi. So, every time I want to watch tv I have to go into the settings and change the connection to coax and the box has to reboot.
Is there a way to change the default connection of the box to the coax connection?
What Are My Options?
For almost a year now, caller ID tv hasn't worked. I've tried every troubleshooting step, got passed to a higher tiered support, setup for a tech to come and, and they cancelled without notifying me. When I contact Fios, I spend more time troubleshooting the same issue on my end, without any real support from them. They talk me through the same process that I've done about 1,000 times. I don't understand why no tech has been sent to correct the issue, or why no one has come out to troubleshoot the issues. My internet, once I switched to 1Gb has never been good connected via LAN or wireless, and I have reached out to them about that as well. As always, I end up doing all of the troubleshooting, with no correction of my issue. Now, the TVs and both network and cable channels are all stuttering and the sound is dropping. I've reset all boxes, the media server, the main cable line coming into the home, and nothing seems to matter. What are my options, outside of obviously getting rid of Fios altogether? Has anyone had any luck with seeing a tech? I'm so frustrated. If the other cable provider wasn't the absolute worst, I would've already have switched. Anyone have any suggestions?

Cannot Login on FXNOW App
Hello,
Since last week, I started getting an error message (screenshot attached) when trying to login to the FXNOW app with Verizon as my cable provider. I have always had FX as part of my subscription package. In fact, I have the Ultimate HD package which is a higher and more expensive tier than the Extreme HD package. This issue is very annoying as I am now two episodes behind on American Horror Story.
Someone in another forum mentioned creating an FXNOW account and that something with Disney+ may have to do with the error. However, I have an account created.
I already called Verizon support about this on Monday, and was told that it was indeed a technical issue that needed to be resolved on their end, however it is days later and the issue still persists.
Closed Captions look terrible - Fios tv one
I'm using a Fios TV One box and turned on closed captioning, which looks surprisingly terrible on my 4K TV? Blurry, stretched...
When viewing Netflix or anything on Apple TV, the captions are sharp and perfectly legible. Why the major difference on the fios box? I've tried several setting combinations and didn't get results.
Has anybody else run into this issue? Were you able to fix it?
Incorrect channel guide information for NBC10 Boston (channels 10, 510)
The TV listings channel guide information is completely incorrect for NBC10 Boston (channels 10 and 510) both via the set top box and the iPhone FiOS TV app (it shows the program information for a Spanish station instead). Is there any way to get this corrected? It screws up DVR recording for NBC shows.
