Problems with on Demand

So recently when I go to watch a show/movie on demand, If I pause it for to long or stop it for some reason when the show "times out"  it no longer goes into the "rented" menu, and I can't resume the show/movie from where I stopped it. I have to start the whole thing over again. Which is a real pain because you can't fast forward.

 

I've even tried to go back through the menus to the show I was watching to resume play, and it is not an option.

 

Anyone else having this problem or have a fix?
