I am contemplating upgrading my current DVR's (two DVR's and one STB, all HD) but have a question regarding use of the media client device.
Today, I have each of the DVR or STB's connected to an additional TV via the TV Out coax. So in each case the primary TV is HMDI, then the TV Out coax is jumped to the second location (ie, Family Room is shared in Kitchen).
I see on the smaller media client boxes both an HDMI as well as a TV Out coax connection. I've tried reviewing any available documentation, but can't determine if this would function or not.
For me it's the difference of requiring either One Media server and two clients, or having to get Two Media Servers and 4 clients.
In this case - the duplicated TV is always near the primary and I'm more concerned that they would not end up in synch. Alternative would be VOE boxes to extend but this would just be a bit more complicated.
