A little history. I currently have Comcast for internet and TV. I recently had my copper Verizon phone upgraded to fiber optic for free due to wiring problems. Once that was complete, I started getting promotional letters saying that I was able to order self install if I upgraded my service.
I just placed and order for Triple Play and self install. All the research that I have done starts with the wiring already hooked up to the ONT. Since I only have my phone hooked to the ONT, how would I do the self install? I noticed inside there is a coaxial and ethernet port. Would I just connect to the coaxial port and go from there? I plan on using the same coaxial cables already ran though out my house and to the comcast cable modem. Does anyone see a problem with this? It's a pain, but I could rewire all the rooms to new RG6 if needed.
