How do I get reimbursed for all the money that Verizon took during 10/2011-1/2014 for a DVR that I had returned? I have spent countless hours on the phone since learning of the discrepancy with representatives, finally getting about half reimbursed. I was given an address in St. Petersburg, FL for billing disputes, but never heard back.
$16.99 x at least 24 months is over $400.00. Today Verizon had a promotion for new customers or for existing customers to upgrade to Triple Play (I have had this since 2007) where they would receive a Visa gift card for $400.00 for signing up. This is a huge slap in the face. They can give away money (yes I understand the sound business practice this is), but they cannot return money to a loyal customer.
To further illustrate Verizon's logic, they would rather keep the $200.00 still owed to me rather than keep a customer who spends approximately $380.00 each month. Any suggestions?
