I have been experiencing the set top box reset/reboot problem for about 4 months now. I have tried it Verizon's way and gone through the multitude of diagnostics. I have had multiple set top boxes sent out to me. I have had RCA jacks sent to me. A tech came out and couldn't find anything wrong, etc... Well, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands. After thinking through the problem, I noticed that none of the installed splitters were grounded. I grounded the first splitter, and since then the set top boxes have not reset for approximately 4 hours. The rebooting problem would occur every 15 to 30 minutes. Almost like clock work. I highly suspect that the coax is not properly grounded from the main box outside. I hope this is a fix for anyone that has been suffering through constant set top box resetting/rebooting. Good luck.
