My landlord recently switched to FIOS and I am on his system but I have a SD QIP 2500 box. The box is able to record and watch shows but that's it. Meaning I can't delete scheduled recordings until they start. I cannot view scheduled recordings, nor can I customize a recording to stop five minutes after, etc. He has I assume all the DVR capabilities on his HD boxes upstairs. I'm new to FIOS... so is this just the way this model box is? Because I accidentally set to record a series and I want to delete that. Does he have to do it from his boxes?
