Recording Options (Record Series w/ Options)

Hi community,

This is our first time having anything Verizon. We switched from Dish Network to Verizon Fios TV :smileyvery-happy:

To keep this question simple, can someone please tell me what the following means once you are under the "modify series" option?

Episodes:

• First-Run and Repeats - Does this mean it will record new episodes and its repeats?
• First-Run - Does this mean it will ONLY record new episodes?

Dish recording options was easier. No offense :smileyembarrassed:

The only thing we care about is:

• How to record ONLY new episodes of a show (ie. Automatically recording future episodes)
  .What options do we choose do accomplish this?
